Women Rise: health and wellbeing activities and workshops

In partnership with Jackson’s Lane

Women Rise explores new ways of increasing physical, social and mental well-being through fun and creative events such as circus workshops, yoga classes, self-defence classes and theatre workshops that explore the issues women face.

Aimed at women over 55, the activities are based in different locations across Haringey and we offer the option of setting up workshops wherever you need. Just get in touch to know more!

Why did you focus on women over 55?

It is important to stay healthy, active and curious about new activities during all stages of life! We noticed there weren’t many groups for women that allowed for this and provided women over 55 years with fun and new activities in a supportive environment so ‘Women Rise’ was born!

What’s the best way to get to Jackson’s Lane from Tottenham?

Our projects are all across the borough so are rarely held at Jacksons Lane, but if you want to visit you can find us right outside Highgate station (northern line).
