Popular local business, Prestige Patisserie, who were featured in our first print issue (Food & Drink), have won a 1-star Great Taste Award for their Salted Caramel, Chocolate and Walnut Tart. The patisserie, which opened in October 2016, is lovingly run by Tottenham-locals George and Geanina Ursache.

500 judges, including food critics, food writers, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs and producers, voted on over 12,600 products. They found Prestige Patisserie’s Salted Caramel, Chocolate and Walnut Tart to have a ‘fantastic flavour with a crisp, buttery pastry, contrasting well with the moist caramel and bitter chocolate filling.’

Great Taste are widely acknowledged as one of the most respected food accreditations for artisan and speciality food producers.

In celebration of the award, Prestige Patisserie will be offering the Salted Caramel, Chocolate and Walnut Tart for half price (£1.75) throughout Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August 2018.

The tart will be available to purchase at Holcombe Market, Fri-Sat 7am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm at Tottenham Green Market, while stocks last.
